COVID-19 Gym Updates

Perfect balance athletics GUIDELINES

The health and safety of our athletes, staff and families will always comes first. As we continue to navigate these times, every decision, policy, and procedure is made in the interest of our athlete’s safety and health; both mental and physical.

We have some guidelines and procedures outlined for all so we can make the most of our return to the gym. Please note: these standards are as fluid as the situation. As we move forward, we may find that some plans and procedures could require alteration. We ask that everyone be adaptable and aware of the possibility of change.

Please take a look below at the current phases. We will send email updates, as well as post on our social media and website.

Things to know:

Vacation Policy
We realize some families plan to or have traveled for holiday festivities. We are asking those families who have traveled outside of the U.S. to keep your athlete away from the gym for a minimum of 5 days.

Gym Arrival
Athletes may be dropped off to enter the main entrance.  We are asking that, for now, only students be allowed into the gym.

Entrances
All classes and athletes will enter and exit through the front doors.

Hand Sanitizing/Wellness Check
Each student will be prompted to use hand sanitizer prior to class.

Staff Work Habits
Staff will be required to wash hands before and after every class.

Equipment Standards
Coaches and staff will continue to sanitize all contact surfaces before and after each class. Sanitizing stations will be located on each floor and in the lobby.

Scheduling
Program Directors are responsible for scheduling classes to accommodate the student to facility ratio. Classes shall be time-spaced appropriately to ensure families can enter and leave the facility without too much overlap.

Group Spacing
While attending class, athletes should try to stay at a 6 foot distance from one another.  ***With updated allowances for stunting and gymnastics events, we will still adhere to all guidelines as best as possible during these specific portions of practice; but by nature these require touch and groupings. Hand sanitizer will be required immediately before and after these activities.

Lobby Maintenance
Office personnel will sanitize all entry surfaces prior to and after each class.
